About Yume Nikki Fangames Archive
This Yume Nikki Fangames archive is a continuation of the old, no longer available Yume Nikki Fangames Archive, which was originally formed shortly after the announcement of YUMENIKKI -DREAM DIARY- and selling the publishing rights of Yume Nikki to Playism, due to the possibility of Yume Nikki fangames being taken down.
Right now, the purpose of Yume Nikki Fangames archive is to preserve Yume Nikki Fangames and their history of development for everyone to enjoy.
Sort of, kinda FAQ, I guess...?
- How to submit a game or translation?
- First, make sure that the game you are submitting is not already available in the archive, or is already going to be added in the next archive update.
- Second, send an e-mail containing the name of the fangame, the version number (if there is one), the original language the fangame was made in, the language it has been translated to (if you are submitting a fan translation), and the download link. It is also worth sending any documentation about the game, such as links to wiki articles about the game or the game's official website.
- We will then verify that the files you sent are correct and add them into the next archive update.
- Take down my fangame!

We will not take down your fangame, unless you provide us with a good reason.
Example of good reasons: leaked personal information, malware, any other kind of virus infection.
Example of bad reasons: the game is bad, wanting the game to be removed from the internet.
After providing us with a good reason, offending files will be removed in the next public update to the archive.
